Pregnancy Care

Our females are scanned and x-rayed during the pregnancy to ensure a healthy mom and babies. Herpes injection and deworming is done prior to birth and all pups are thoroughly inspected after birth to ensure they’re healthy.

Puppy Care

All pups are Registered, Micro-chipped and given their first two injections and deworming. Additionally we wean them at the correct age to ensure no behavioral issues and ensure they are able to eat unassisted before we allow them to go to their new family.

Inoculations & Deworming

• 4 Week Parvo & De-worming
• 7 weeks 1st Inoculation & De-worming
• 10 Weeks 2nd Inoculation & De-worming
• Vet checks at 8 weeks and 12 Weeks to check for healthy pups, this includes their heart inspection.
• Aztrazar Pups are all Ataxia clear by parentage – testing done by labs in France.

WAITING LISTS & PUPPY SELECTION

We work from a waiting list and require the pre-purchase questionnaire click here.(word file) to be completed and returned. We reserve the right to turn down any potential owners who we see as an incorrect or incompatible placements for our pups.

Due to high demand we allow for up to 5, 25% refundable upfront deposits, to secure a pup from our next litter. We inform everyone on our waiting list once we have a confirmed litter; once the litter has been born, we advise on quantities of Males and Females available.

At this stage we take a 25% Refundable deposit on any additional pups we may have. (Only equivalent to the number of male and female pups available).

We regularly update our facebook page with photos of each litter as they develop.

At 4 Weeks we require 50% deposit, bringing the total deposit amount to 75%. The deposit is now non-refundable.

At 8 Weeks, Pups will do a Puppy Puzzle and this is to see which of the pups have the best Showing quality. (We try to home these pups in homes that allow us to show or for those who want to show themselves).

Once this has been done, we then allow for Selection to take place in order of deposit received.

We have a specific list for Blue pups as they are in high demand. These individuals will have first choice on any blue pups that are born from any litter – Again, if show quality is a factor, we request the right to show these pups).

A Week prior to the puppies going to their new homes, we require the balance payment.

Aztrazar Pups can only go to new homes after 10 Weeks old.

The new owners will then be responsible for the pups final Injection and Rabies at Age 3 Months.

Please note ALL Aztrazar pups are sold KUSA registered and have breeding restrictions on them. Please note, it is advisable to spay or neuter your pups between 4-6months if you do not plan to show your dogs. If you require any further details, please feel free to contact us…

TRAINING

Training your pup is very important and pups are trained from the beginning to ensure your new addition is well balanced.

We encourage our new owners to continue their training and to join us at shows. Your Amstaff needs stimulation and doing some activity with your dog will help build a tight relationship and bond.
